Two Regent sailings that look alike can differ in port time, sea days and how demanding the daily schedule is. I compare them side by side against how you actually like to travel.

Guidance beyond the deck plan: shade at midday, noise near the tender points, walking distance to the restaurants, and where a higher category changes the experience rather than the price.

The nights either side
A hotel the night before an early boarding, a city to rest in after a long flight home, and the transfers that connect them. These are arranged as part of the plan, not left to the last week.

If a sailing changes or a reservation goes missing, you call me. I work the line's representatives directly instead of a queue, and you hear about it before you find out at the pier.

Questions worth asking
Before you choose a voyage
Is Regent Seven Seas really all-inclusive?
On board, very nearly. Dining, drinks, unlimited shore excursions, gratuities, Wi-Fi and airport transfers are included. Airfare is usually the exception unless a promotion covers it, and a few things such as the spa, premium gifts and certain private tours are extra. I confirm what your specific fare includes before you book.
Which suite category should I choose?
It depends on how you use the room. If you take breakfast on your balcony and enjoy an evening drink with the door open, the extra space pays for itself. If the suite is somewhere to change and sleep, a lower category with a good location is often the better buy. I would rather talk it through than sell the largest suite.
Can you arrange hotels before or after the cruise?
Yes. Through Marriott STARS and Luminous, Hyatt Prive and the Virtuoso network, hotel stays often come with upgrades on availability, daily breakfast for two, a property credit and flexible check-in or check-out, at no added cost.
Should I buy travel protection?
For any journey you would not want to lose the cost of, yes. I arrange it through Allianz Travel and explain what the policy does and does not cover, including the pre-existing condition windows, before you pay for it.
What does BlueGold Travel charge?
The supplier pays my commission, so planning a voyage carries no extra cost to you. Some journeys begin with a professional planning fee for research, itinerary design and coordination. If a fee applies, we discuss and agree it before any work begins.
