Regent Seven Seas Cruises

An all-suite ship, chosen around how you travel

Every stateroom on a Regent ship is a suite. I help you choose the category, the deck and the voyage where the suite genuinely changes the experience rather than the price.

Working with BlueGold Travel

Choosing the suite

The line looks after the ship. Which suite you wake up in, and where it sits, is decided before you board, and that is where an advisor earns the place.

01

The suite you will genuinely use

Guidance beyond the deck plan: shade at midday, noise near the tender points, walking distance to the restaurants, and where a higher category changes the experience rather than the price.

02

Location over category

Two suites of the same size can feel entirely different depending on the deck, the position and what sits above or below. I look at noise, shade and walking distance before looking at price.

03

When a higher category is worth it

Sometimes moving up a category changes the voyage; sometimes the same money is better spent on the nights around it. I will tell you which, honestly, based on how you use a room.

04

One person to call

If a sailing changes or a reservation goes missing, BlueGold works directly with the line's representatives instead of a queue, keeping you informed before you reach the pier.

Where clients are going

Voyages frequently planned with this line, and the reasons travelers choose them.

The Mediterranean in autumn

Barcelona to Rome with the south of France along the way. The sea is still warm, the towns are quieter, and the summer crowds have gone home.

Northern Europe and the British Isles

Copenhagen and Edinburgh with the Scottish isles in between, when the light lasts most of the night and the gardens are at their best.

Japan and the Far East

A spring voyage timed around the gardens and the festivals, with a ship that moves so the packing is done once.

These are examples of the voyages BlueGold Travel plans. Share roughly when you can travel to receive the current schedule and fares for that season.

Questions worth asking

Before you choose a voyage

Which suite category should I choose?

It depends on how you use the room. If you take breakfast on your balcony and enjoy an evening drink with the door open, the extra space can be worthwhile. If the suite is somewhere to change and sleep, a lower category in a good location may be the better choice. The goal is the right suite, not simply the largest one.

Is Regent Seven Seas really all-inclusive?

On board, very nearly. Dining, drinks, unlimited shore excursions, gratuities, Wi-Fi and airport transfers are included. Airfare is usually the exception unless a promotion covers it, and a few things such as the spa, premium gifts and certain private tours are extra. Your specific fare inclusions are confirmed before booking.

Can you arrange hotels before or after the cruise?

Yes. Through Marriott STARS and Luminous, Hyatt Prive and the Virtuoso network, hotel stays often come with upgrades on availability, daily breakfast for two, a property credit and flexible check-in or check-out, at no added cost.

Should I buy travel protection?

For any journey whose cost you would not want to lose, travel protection is worth considering. BlueGold Travel can arrange coverage through Allianz Travel and explain what a policy does and does not cover, including pre-existing condition windows, before purchase.

What does BlueGold Travel charge?

Cruise suppliers pay a commission, so planning a voyage typically carries no added cost to the traveler. Some journeys begin with a professional planning fee for research, itinerary design and coordination. Any applicable fee is discussed and agreed upon before work begins.
